Android One is one of the Google's handful projects. It is aimed for the entry-level devices to help the mobile OS run better. As such, those handsets that qualify for the program area unit usually pretty middling, at best.
LG's G7 One bucks the trend as some of its specs wouldn't be out of place on a 2018 flagship device. It has the Snapdragon 845, Qualcomm's top of the line processor, a 6.1-inch QHD display, and a 3,000mAh battery.
There is also a famous notch that is present on all top flagship devices these days.
There are also some cost-cutting features. The dual camera tech is not present on the device here. The 4gb of RAM and 32gb of internal storage are not great these days, but perfectly acceptable. The headphone jack is still available which is good for a budget smartphone device.
The device will be released at IFA in Berlin this week. Price is still not announced yet, but LG promises an Exceptional one. The price will be very least yet this device will be under the company's flagship.
If LG is able to offer something unique from the price perspective then they might stand out in the race of smartphones again. It is the technique and strategy the worked for the OnePlus.
